Out with the old, in with the new doesn’t look like Apple’s strategy regarding the iPad mini, which premiered a year ago. Instead Apple is now restocking the Black and Slate version with the Space Gray, which debuted on the iPhone 5s.
Select Apple retail stores has been receiving stock of the Space Gray iPad mini since Tuesday.
Aside from the color option there are now just 16 GB iPad mini models available – a Wi-Fi only and Wi-Fi + Cellular ($299 and $429 respectively).
