Description
Over 2 million soldiers, sailors, airmen, and Marines wear the uniform. Of those, approximately 50 thousand fall under the direct control of the Special Operations Command. Of these, a relatively unknown entity of handpicked warriors is called on when the mission must not fail. They are the Tier 1 Operators. The Tier 1 Operator functions on a plane of existence above and beyond even the most highly trained Special Operations Forces. Their exact numbers, while classified, hover in the low hundreds. They are living, breathing, precision instruments of war. They are experts in the application of violence. The new Medal of Honor is inspired by and has been developed with Tier 1 Operators from this elite community. Step into the boots of these warriors and apply their unique skill sets to a new enemy in the most unforgiving and hostile battlefield conditions of present day Afghanistan.
There is a new enemy. There is a new war. There is a new warrior. He is Tier 1. This is Medal of Honor.
Features:
Medal of Honor will feature a single-player campaign that takes place in 2002, in which the player will control multiple characters from both the â€Å“Tier 1†and â€Å“Big Military†perspectives. The storyline will follow several “Tier One Operators” working under the National Command Authority in Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom. Players will also play as a US Army Ranger and an Apache helicopter gunner, fighting on a larger scale than the “Tier 1 Ops” campaign, as players will then only be a small part of the “war machine”. The campaign will be heavily weighted (with regards to playtime) in favor of the Tier 1 operators.
In addition to multiplayer the game features a deep single player campaign in which players guide the storyline of multiple Tier 1 operators, as well as an Army Ranger
Elite Special Forces combat set across the rugged Afghanistan landscape, introducing players to the role of the Tier 1 Operators in the US military
Limited Edition priced at the same amount as the standard version, yet including early beta access, multiple special weapons and an exclusive skin
Developed by the world-class team at DICE (makers of Battlefield Bad Company 2) the game’s fast paced combat delivers the perfect mix of tactical warfare and all-out action
The game supports up to 24 players in online multiplayer modes
New theater of war: For the first time in the franchise’s ten-year history, Medal of Honor moves from the WWII theater to war-torn Afghanistan.
New soldier: The Tier 1 Operators are the best of the best. They handle the missions no one else can manage, with their superior will, mindset, and uncompromising professionalism.
