We just get some news from Apple and Google about Motorola is bought by Google in 2012 which is copied smartphone technology
Apple and Google have agreed to drop a long-running legal dispute over patents.
Since 2010, the iPhone maker and Motorola - which was bought by Google in 2012 - have been fighting several lawsuits across the globe, and claiming that the other had copied its smartphone technology.
"Apple and Google have agreed to dismiss all the current lawsuits that exist directly between the two companies," a joint statement said.
"Apple and Google have also agreed to work together in some areas of patent reform."
The agreement marks the end of around 20 remaining actions in the US and Germany.
However, the move does not mean complete harmony between the pair, as the deal does not include an agreement to license their technology to each other.
It also does not resolve the wider issues for Android manufacturers such as Samsung, who was recently ordered to pay Apple $119.6m (£71m) for a series of patent infringements.
Lenovo is currently in the process of taking over Motorola Mobility for $2.91 billion (£1.83bn), although Google will retain rights to the "vast majority" of its patent portfolio.
